This was a gift for an aunt who happens to be a huge Elvis fan so fortunately she was able to look past the poor quality and just see her favorite Idol. I however felt this fleece was incredible too thin and flimsy. I had second thoughts on giving it as a gift. In my opinion, it is not worth the money.. the shipping was fast but that alone doesn't make up for the quality of this product.

Our old tree stand gave out last year so we searched the reviews for a hardier replacement. We ordered this item over three weeks ago. The item supposedly was in stock. They said the item was to be delivered by December 2. We went out with our children and cut down a tree. We have it sitting in a bucket of water waiting for the stand to arrive. We just received a notice on December 2 that the item was backordered and that they cancelled our order. Why did the say it was in stock and why couldn't they tell us it was backorderd sooner? Now we have to scramble to find a tree stand. This is no way to do business.

A few years ago we bought a plastic tree stand and every year it seemed like we were fighting it to get the tree up and stable. Then last year, we moved into a bigger house and had an 8 foot tree...needless to say it toppled a couple days after we got the tree up. I blamed the tree (now nicknamed the Charlie Brown Christmas tree), until this year. I got a 9 foot tree and absolutely could not get it to be stable.

I went to the big box home improvement h-ll bent on getting a strong tree stand. Out of all of the tree stands in the store, this one was by far the most stable and the strongest. It's very heavy and the system used to center and hold up the tree is ingenious and VERY simple to use (make sure you screw in the honeycomb part on the bottom...you might think it's meaningless, but it's critical to the stand). We had the tree up in 15 minutes and after wiggling it around, I'm convinced we won't come home to find our Xmas tree on the ground ever again. I expect this stand to last a lifetime and for once in the last 4 years, I can finally say I bought something that seems overbuilt.

I can't see how it broke for another reviewer unless the item was completely defective.

This Christmas tree stand worked fine for us this passed year. It was a little bulky for a 6' tree. I probably would have got a smaller size if I knew. It's a very solid stand, though, and the funky waffle patterned thing you screw into the bottom of the tree worked great to keep it from tilting. I'll be using this stand for years to come.

For years I've used heavy, pottery mixing bowls. I can't believe what a pleasure these are to use. They're lightweight, the pouring spout makes them easy to use and very functional. They also have slip resistant tabs on the bottom so they stay put on the counter and you can't beat the price. One of the best purchases that I've ever made on Amazon.

I've been looking for some bowls I can use with my hand mixer. These are a great depth which minimize splattering of batters or puddings. They also have a nice rubber footing which prevents slipping on my granite countertops. A real plus. They have a little spout at one end so pouring is easier. And last but not least cleanup is a breeze! I gives these bowls an A+.

I purchased this wireless Temperature Sensor to replace the original sensor that came with my LaCrosse Technology clock/temp unit that I enjoyed very much. The part number is identical to original - unit appears to work but is at least 20-30 degrees off (yes I checked C vs F). Sorry I tried to save a few bucks. I would have been better off to have taken the money for the remote sensor and put it toward a new clock. Live and learn.

My office is under construction and in our warehouse the company was just going to throw about 100 of these HPS ballast and lamps out. I think they are trying to replace them with lighting that is more efficient. My boss said I could grab as many as I wanted so I picked one up (they are very large and heavy so I couldn't grab more than one). I was looking for something that could light up my garage while I worked on various car projects. When I first set it up and plugged it in I was impressed at the amount of light this thing produced. The bulb unfortunately burned out quickly so I purchased this one and..... WOW!!!!. I might as well be working outside (i'm not even exaggerating). Although I don't use it often (only for detailed projects such as painting and body repair) i did notice an increase in my power bill. I can't say that these will work well in a garden but they are certainly good for a garage......Keep in mind that they also get fairly warm. Since It is winter it isn't a problem but I have a feeling during the warmer temps I will need to limit it's use.

I ordered 4 of these because they were such a good deal. 5 months ago. I used 2 right away and they worked well. I went to replace one recently it worked well for 3 weeks then I heard a big noise and it stopped working. I inspected the bulb and noticed the long filament tube had come separated from the two points of contact that held it in place. I opened the 4th bulb after I saw third bulb and seen its just connected at one point opposed to the two it's supposed to be. And it will fail soon also. The tho that are working good are connected at both points. So bottom line I spent 300 dollars for 2 good bulbs. Seller offered to replace with some cheap 20 dollar x brite bulbs. Because it was out of his 90 day return policy. I always thought hortilux have a years warranty. Be sure to inspect your products good when you buy from seller even if you don't plan to use right away. Hopefully I can prevent someone from experiencing that pre rape feeling like I did. I still wish the seller would refund me and stand behind product. Warranty period or not if the product hasn't been used what's the big deal. Inspect it and see.
